cant turn "page" in long threads

there are a couple long threads that i am suddenly unable to view in entirety.

example - the " i like " thread and " i dont like thread " in ejections.
When i click on "last page" for the "I like" threads i am directed to page 5.
Despite the fact that there are 6 pages.
CLicking page 6 leaves me at page 5 and clicking the "next" arrow also leaves me stuck on page 5.

Similiarly there are 13 pages now in "i dont like" .
When i click "last page" i am directed to page 9.
clicking a specific pages 10 thru 13 or
clicking next page also leaves me at page 9.

this is happening on 2 different computers with different ip's and regardless of whether or not i am signed in or not. ive cleared cookies / rebooted on both to no effect.

:confused:

ok this is the last post i can see in the i dont like thread.
it jibes with what is showing on the page display as being most recent
but the thread itself is showing there being another 50 posts and several pages ???

yet this appears to be the most updated post and it is # 133.
there are numerous other threads appearing to place me on page 3 of 4 as example when i am reading a post from 10 minutes ago ....

I noticed this as well....

The forums are expecting a new post so if you post it takes you to the next page where you are the first poster (I think). You shouldn't miss any posts

its doing it to me also.

Does it maybe have something do with whatever happened to yankee hater? Because there is one thread where it says he had post #40, which is on page 3, but it took me to page 2.

i tried to look at his posts but they are all gone. i THINK thats what happened in some of these threads. his stiff got "soft deleted" maybe?
