Re: Bonds goes back to court?!
so like I said, he never tested positive!
I understand all of that, all I am trying to prove is if the Gov't wants to get you , they can, and they will.
Yes, his trainer is in jail because he refuses to go against what against what Bonds says, and last but not least if the so called steroids made him hit all those homers, why was he able to hit all those homers after the investigation started?
Re: Bonds goes back to court?!
A lot of guys never tested positive who were using it. That's what happens when you can get the best masking agent money can buy.

No.

Give me a break...........bottom line is he never tested positive! SO why should he admit to anything?
Because lying in a federal investigation is illegal.
Re: Bonds goes back to court?!
They brought a lot guys in to that investigationa nd several of tham admitted to using roids or other things :-) choosing to come clean can be so good for the soul

Not sure if this was a reply to me or not.
Anyway, I never said anything about testing. He isn't being charged with use of steroids. He is being charged with lying to the feds. You do not do it, period. If you do, they will come after you. The Grand Jury testimony records were sealed, but it's known several players ADMITTED to usage in that testimony because they CHOSE to admit that fact (Jason Giambi, for example).
And if you think Bonds is the only person the Feds are going after/have gone after for this, talk to Marion Jones, when she gets out of prison for lying in testimony.
They don't tend to come after you for lying to them unless they've got something on you. And then they put big time prosecutors on the case, and they nail your *** to the wall. If he was stupid enough to think he could get away with lying to them, I hope he gets nailed.
Re: Bonds goes back to court?!
even if they do nail him, he is the best ever!~

Ha ha, you so crazy!
Barry probably aint even in the top five of legit best ever players.
Aaron, Mays, Ruth, Cobb, Williams, Griffey Jr., Speaker, Joe D, Musial. That's nine who're better.
Re: Bonds goes back to court?!
Bonds without steroids= First ballot HOF player, first player to 500 HR and 500 SB (right?)
Bonds with Steroids= Most career homeruns, best player statwise ever, on of the worst examples to kids in baseball, complete douchebag, and may not make the HOF.

Griffey wasn't better. Neither were Aaron or Musial. For Mays, Cobb, Speaker, and Dimaggio, it depends on how much you value center field defense, and how good they were. Bonds was also better than Williams.
Speaking purely offensively, Ruth, Williams, and Bonds are the top 3.
Taking defense and all-around play into account, it gets closer, but since defense is so hard to quantify, it's really impossible to say which of these guys was better.
Bonds is not the best ever, though.
