In other words, it has absolutely no value in comparing players to each other.

Putting any weight to the players in a given player's own organization makes it so that the stat has little use in comparing two players with one another.

I actually subscribed somewhat to this analysis. It has been some years however since I actually used it for player review. If I recall, Paul O'Neill was very highly rated as he led the team in water cooler damaging temper tantrums, displaying his grit..determination..and desire. This was the only analysis I could find that came close to measuring that kind of stuff. :D:p
