Here are a few links I found about the Sonics.
I am very surprised more people aren't talking about this...

I'm not a NBA fan, but this has been talked about for about 2 months now. And if MR Schultz was so interested in keeping them in seattle he wouldn't have sold them in the 1st place. Plus if the city wanted them there maybe they should show up for some games, they have the 3rd lowest attendence numbers in the league, only ahead of Memphis and Indiana. And since the 2002 season they haven't been in the top 20(only 29 teams) in attendence.
No owner will keep a team in a city for very long when the fans won't support them
While it has been talked about for the last two months, The possibility (probability?) of the Sonics moving hasn't exactly been earth shattering news either. That's rather telling.
Actually its all a really bad situation, the Sonics were bought with the sole purpose of moving them to Oklahoma city. Bennett simply lied through his teeth about about wanting a new building, he would have found another reason to move them.
Sadder still this has nothing to do with the fan support of the Sonics, in the last 5 years the have had 90+% ticket sales. It was simply a Set up by Bennett and his friend David Stern to steal the team from Seattle.
Not to mention the grotesque tanking job pulled of this year by management, And it really isnt news simply beacuse the only person that can even slow or intervene (David Stern) simply said "F-you Seattle I'm going to let Bennett take them and i don't care" months ago.
This is setting up some steam. Starbucks CEO has sued Clayton Bennet, and Howard Shultz might go from the most hated person in Seattle to the most loved....
some great commentary here Click on the listen live. THey will probably be either talking about College sports/golf, Sonics,Seahawks or Mariners... or something about the bigger dance.
******! This new NBA team in Oklahoma City is going to totally screw up the success of the Oklahoma Redhawks AAA franchise.

The funny part is that the Sonics traded Gary Payton and then our attendance falls off...go figure...
