A few things...and those out there who suffer through this guy's commentary please feel free to add your 2 cents.

1) Jesse Litch is not a rookie this season.
2) Have you been listening to Paul O'Neil, because David Eckstein isnt exactly "gritty". Jamie, see firejoemorgan.com, ask your boy Pat Tabler in the booth for forgiveness...then thank him for getting caught stealing 2nd in the WS.
3) You see i pay attention...but when Stewart gets a base hit...you might want to tell everyone watching that he has come into the game to pinch hit for Stairs BEFORE he gets to 1st base.

I prefer Jaime Campbell over the crickets chirping that was the team of Rod Black and Joe Carter when Sportsnet first had the Jays...

Or even Brian Williams on CBC when he called a pop-up to second a long drive to the outfield..

Let's see. How long before somebody yells at you to keep your opinions and criticisms to yourself?

Shame Tom Cheek isn't with us anymore..

Then again, the radio station in Peterborough that used to carry the radio broadcasts decided to stop this year.. So no Jerry Howarth and Alan Ashby for me..

HGM, why would any of us do that?...we come to these forums to view various opinions and criticisms, no matter how much we might disagree with them

I can't stand Rod Black. Gord Miller did a few games for TSN last year, and he was much better. Jim Hughson is the best of the 3, albeit he just called like 10 games last year.

I wish Dan Schulman would come back. :(

I think there'll be more games on CBC this year as well. Last year they didn't start until probobly more than halfway through the season.
