Man - you can tell I am not a football fan: I thought this thread was going to be about a new, really ugly design of flip-cell phones, maybe yellow ones that looked like Pacman.
I thought this was about Pacman going to jail.
Thank god the Mariners have the "other" Adam Jones! ;)
Stupidity is bad enough, but arrogant stupidity is flat out dangerous.
He needs to do time, but he won't learn anything from it. He'll just blow it off as "the man" trying to keep him down.
The woman dropped the charges so Pacman will be back in a Titans uniform next season and hopefully play to his potential without the off the field distractions and incidents. He's talented I'll say that, hopefully he doesn't get caught up in his talent off the field after his reinstatement.
No I believe Goodel can extend the suspension but that wouldn't be the right thing to do. He hasn't been involved in any other negative activites throughout the whole season so there really is no merit to extending the suspension. However, once the Titans lost he was allowed to visit the team facilities and Headquarters, which he had been banned from for the length of the season. His status will be reviewed by Goodel after the Pro Bowl so hopefully Titans fans can have thier cornerback back.
Goodell still has to reinstate him. And this could count against him even if the charges are dropped, he was told to have no contact with the police, this was contact. He was told to be a model citizen and going to another strip club after the Vegas fiasco is not reassuring behavior.
oh they will, I have no problem with the Mariners trading Jones, but I do have a problem with Bavaci making anymore deals, he is one stupid SOB.
Jones reminds me of Marc Newfield...
Like Ramierez for Soriano was a good deal alright ;)
I don't think Pacman Jones will play another game in a Titans uniform. I mean, they made the playoffs this year without him, so he's not essential enough to put up with his ****. From everything I've read, most of the team has already washed their hands of the guy. I strongly believe they were thrilled when Goodell upheld the seasonlong suspension (I'm still amazed Pacman somehow though that performing briefly in TNA Wrestling and continuing to attend strip bars at night because, to quote him, he likes to eat there, was enough to get him early 'parole' on his suspension. I've put up drywall smarter than this guy), because it would have created a bit of a messy cap situation if they were forced to decide during the year.
He won't be the only problem child looking for work, either. I'd be shocked if Chris Henry suits up again for the Bengals, Tank Johnson was just a brief rental for the Cowboys, and Jacksonville and Denver are both going to rid their rosters of some of their idiots, too.
