The Lowe/Varitek one is worse in hindsight. The Soriano one was worse overall because it was quite obvious that it was a stupid trade.Quote:

But it wasn't a bad trade, not even in hindsight. We traded him something like 1996 or something, then he gets good 6 years later. Awesome 7 years later, I would make that trade 10times out of 10. Well, that's what I'm saying. Nobody knew that Ortiz would become one of the best hitters in the game, which is why, only when viewed in hindsight, does the trade look foolish.
