That kind of stuff is what people will post. I think the intention is good, but we don't need to clean up the forum, heck we could just have all the moderators give up there moderator powers and the forums would be fine.

People already post that stuff randomly on and off though. I don't think a subforum for "showcases" would cause anymore people to do than already do. If anything, we can make a rule that only non-editted players can be posted, and anything that is obviously editted will be deleted.

More people would probably post their players and/or team accomplishments if there were a dedicated place for it, actually.
And to be honest, I could care less if the players are edited or not. It's still fun to see, occasionally.

Besides, people always ask for screenshots and whatnot when new versions come out.

Houston, I'm amazed that you would bar edited posts...apart from the strictures of our English teachers ("Revise...revise...revise your writings!"), I believe that many a post would be far more attractive to read; less likely to inflame; garner more respect for the author's effort to improve his stuff; were that author to take a sober second (and 3rd) look at what he hath wrought.

I, myself, invariably edit my posts, if only to dunk in my teas, and cross my eyes. To those who dislike what I, eventually, do turn out, I can only say "You shoulda seen my first draft!" :eek:

Seconded. The forums don't need any more "work" right now.

I would miss the x-ray vision option if I had to give up my powers though....... :(

As for me, I respect everybody, no matter what..even if they don't respect me.

I remember when I was younger and in martial arts, we had mental requirements. The first one at every rank was:

" Respect for the Art, the School, and all other People."

I try to respect people that don't respect me, but sometimes, that ain't easy, depending on the level of disrespect you're being shown.
