There's no way I can state that I believe Bonds too steroids, and that I believe that he shouldn't be stricken from the records due to lack of proof, along with a bunch of other issues, any clearer than I already have.

How about when I state "It is a fact that there is a high correlation every year" and I get in response "That's a contradiction! A fact is a perfect correlation. YOu can't say there isnt a perfect correlation and yet still call it a fact"!? That's just ridiculous too. It can be a fact that there is a high correlation, and that's not a contradiction. And there's no way I can be any clearer.

The fault does NOT lay entirely on me. I've admitted that I don't articulate things perfectly all the time for many reasons. However, to say that not understanding what I'm saying is ENTIRELY my fault, is wrong.

And I like how you say that there's no excuse for insults, yet throw another, sneakier one in there in the very next sentence.

Also, I nicely restated what I've said over and over again, and it gets replied to with a "NO! YOUVE ARGUED THAT BONDS DIDNT USE STEROIDS." or a "NO! THATS A CONTRADICTION" even though I already restated what I was saying. That is where my dense comment came from - because I had restated over and over again what my point was, and I still get told that I'm arguing for something I'm actually not.

I'm gonna have to agree with HoustonGM here.

Slowrx7 seems like he just wants to fight, no matter how dumb it makes him sound.

Your choice to side with whoever you want, just don't be surprised when our newest mod calls you dense. Also, he will use the correct definition of a word to his advantage, but if you try to reverse it, he will say something to the effect of 'you know what I meant'.

HGM - I know how frustrating it can be to not be able to articulate an argument. It happens to me all the time. The Sheffield thread is a prime example. But - that does not give you the right to go raped ape on people. If you have to nicely say it 10 times, and someone still doesn't get it - tell them nicely the 11th time, or just stop responding.

And just to throw this out here, is someone who lacks obvious social skills dense?

Nah, I haven't been here long enough, I'm a loose cannon, and I wouldn't want the job. But do I think he shouldn't be a mod? Yes, he was a bad choice.

Actually, he was a good choice

He has been a huge contributor here for a long time.

I realize that. However, moderators generally attempt to diffuse situations. HGM doesn't know that art (nor do I). A moderator taking pot shots at contributors and attempting to escalate situations to bait a contributor into tossing an insult back is pretty much unheard of.

I have something against the way he treats people and insults them. I have something against the way he takes no accountability after a profanity laden or condescending remark. I have nothing against him personally. I happen to think we would get along irl. Same interests, at least.
