When you say words are put into your mouth, think about the reason why people msunderstood you. Is it more likely the entirety of the boards fault, or the poster that no one could understand?
In the cases that I'm thinking of, there's no way that it's due to me. I mean, when I say qutie clearly "I think Barry Bonds took steroids" and never once say "I don't think barry Bonds took steroids" and yet am told repeatedly "Your argument has been that Bonds never took steroids"...that's words being put into my mouth that I've never spoken and have actually ONLY said that complete opposite, quite clearly.Quote:

Like I said, in those situations, I have been explicitly clear. It's not the entirety of the boards by any stretch of the imagination.
Right. That wasn't really a definite answer. It was more like a politicians sample response to any hard question. So here is another question(s). Why is it only you that this seems to happen? Are you a target? Or are you just the whiniest member of the board?
I still struggle to see how it can be nobody's fault, yet you through an immature little fit over it happening. Obviously, you wouldn't get upset if you thought no one was at fault. (Or so I would hope.)

How is that my fault? My statements have been 100% clear and concise that I believe Barry Bonds used steroids, yet I still am told by others that my argument has been that Bonds DIDNT use steroids. That is not POSSIBLY my fault. If you think that's somehow my fault, please explain how that's even possible.

What? No. That doesn't even begin to make sense. Ignoring that I actually don't lack communication skills, there's nothing a lack of communication skills can do when I flat out say I THINK BONDS TOOK ROIDS to make someone think that i think that he didn't take roids
I think Barry Bonds took steroids has one and only one meaning. No amount of a lack of communication skills makes that statement mean the exact opposite of what I'm being accused of arguing for.

Believing that it can't be 100% proven, yet still believing that it's true, are seperate things. By saying I don't think it can be proven, that IS NOT saying that I don't think it's true.

When you make so many differing statements, some of which don't technically conflict, people are bound to be confused on what point you are trying to make. The communicator is the one the weight is on to get through to the audience. Instead of blaming them, blame yourself for being unclear. If they don't understand, it is your fault. No matter what. No, don't even try to weasel out. I can sense you right now forming another 'out'. There is no way out. The audience was confused and it is the communicators fault. 100% fault, to you. Is that crystal clear enough for you?
And besides, instead of nicely restating what you said, you had to act like a toddler and get mad? There was no excuse for you to go off and throw insults. Yes I am guilty of doing this as well, but there is no excuse for insults I made either. Aww, someone fwustwated you??? Poh Baby.
