So i recently upgraded to BBM08 and now my save game from BBM07 will not load. It takes forever to spool up to 100% when loading, then will just stop responding completely.
The save game was started with BBM06, then played fine in BBM07, but just completely dies with 08. Any advice? Its the first (and only) league ive started and would hate to lose 48 years with of game play. (id rather use 08 than 07)
Patch the game.

I run a mogul league with my friends and we use a file that I create with some big differences in salaries and such. I recently bought mogul 08 and never used to it before, but when I try to load the file, it will only load to 90%. Is there a way to fix this or do I have to create the file all over again???
Ah, crud.... Ian fixed this problem (or at least, a problem with the same symptoms) during beta. Something must have changed recently...
i dont know much about the technical aspects of things, im just looking for a judge of the severity; is this a rather fixable thing? should i just wait for a patch update, or should i just begin on a new file? sorry, i dont frequent these boards so i dont know the details. thanks!

Brooklyn - Brian (Manager).zip is up
League started with BBM06 in the 2005 season as a custom team, the Brooklyn Crusaders. Seasons went by, added a couple new teams. Built a new stadium. Moved save to BBM07. Played with no problems. Moved to BBM08, save will not load.
I found the problem... there seems to be some strangeness with uncompressed older files.
The next patch (10.25B coming tonight) will load your file correctly.

edit: their are tons of them. almost every draftee is a fan favorite.
OK, I added "partially" to the thread title so that hopefully Ian will see the thread again. Note though that it's normally a good idea to start a new thread if the old one has been marked as "Fixed", because Clay and Ian generally overlook those threads.
