Interestingly enough, no one has come close to Ty Cobb's batting average. Here are my hit leaders: (Note the 54 year old!)

Note - Josephine Strawser's numbers are not impressive, just an accumulation of many years. I can post her stats if you want. Tricia Scarbrough played a natural baseball career with no real crazy money manipulation. Note the double digit homers all her career, even in the last year. Had I paid her more...

Why are most of your hits leaders girls? :P
I don't know man. Got to be the eye rating. With my girlfriend, I get away with nothing!
Oh, it helps to to have players that have a high health rating from the start. Getting a player with less than 80 health with not be healthy enough to make crazy statistics over a 30 year career.
That's interesting. Thanks
Havent reached any of those age levels Cy retired in o6 the one i played. But have Done the "insane pay" for lowrate and some will actually produce.Did it a few times online. If the player is happy I can see same player staying on longer. To reach Glory Rather than retire early?.
Man have you played a long time!!
Interesting stats.
I would like to see all of that pitchers seasons though. I'm curious as to just how bad he played near the end. I know that once most of my guys hit 40 they go down hill real quick.
Maybe this will give you an idea...

Closest I have come to Cy's record is only 337 (Pedro Astacio), which isn't close; however, Jim Edmonds hit 1064 HR and 4533 hits for me in the same franchise. The starting year was 1990, and each of them were finished by 2016.
Other notable stats from that franchise:
Kevin Milwood had 301 wins
Manny Ramirez had 866 HR
Keep in mind that, on top of "OhCrap" having simulated some 600 years, we've all simulated 10's of thousands of seasons collectively. With that much baseball having been "played", nothing is really too surprising.
