Hey there I just got the game and downloaded the 5.6 patch.
I have been trying to make a trade after my first season so I can draft someone and everytime I accept an offer I crash the game. Running XP if that helps.
Any ideas?
The game is unplayable at this time as my team can not move further without crashing or ending draft.

How many players are on your roster? Try just dropping someone (anyone), and then attempt to do a trade.
Also, be sure to send the crash report when the game asks you to.
I have sent the error report everytime it crashes when the report screen pops up.Quote:

Have you already started the draft? I ask because the game WILL crash every time if you try to make a trade after you have started the draft. It's one of the bugs that has made me give up on this game until next year or at least until a new patch comes out, which probably won't happen if Clay is concentration on BM. :(

Yes, I have bought this game every year since they started developing a few years back.
We liked the game so much this year I have been running a league (MogulFootball.net) but one of the downfalls is we can not make ANY trades DURING the draft.
This really stinks and kills a lot of what this game is about. This issue NEEDS to be fixed so we can run this game successfully and keep or league up and running.
Yes, I have tried it all it does not seem to work. I probably sent in close to 20 myself on this issue since it crashes every time. Its when you START a draft and DURING the draft you try to make a trade it crashes.Quote:

I just bought the game and this is one of the biggest problems I have had I am so choked that it is ruining the game for me, whats the point of making trades for draft picks?
Understand your frustration, the NFL draft is one of the best and without allowing trades it takes the fun out of it.
I believe ANYONE who owns this game DOES have this problem and can not complete trades during a draft.
