New one for me - Im "locked" in...
Well since yesterday I m locked in my flat - not "officially" but am all the same.
let me explain - to get in the front door of my building you need to scan your "building beeper" - so far so good, but yesterday as I was getting the elevator I pulled out my keys & my beeper fell out on the floor ,exploded "split in two" & half fell down the lift "shaft".
I phoned the maintenance guys & they said they will come Monday afternoon (Im +7 EST) so for the last 36 hours I cant leave the building...arhh... because the car is in the garage (need a beeper to open the door) & I cant leave my block because Im not sure I can get back in ...
****... pure ****...:D :( :)

ouch! Too bad there isn't a keypad to enter a code or something...
There is a good reason to live where dogs provide your home security.

I'd just break it. It's your residence so just break in. Too bad but it's their problem.

But then you need to explain yourself. If you use my plan there's no explaining.

Never had a Tsunami in the area - well there is always a first one....

FRS: Man, you missed a golden opportunity! You leave the house, go to work, and as you leave, call your girlfriend across town and explain the whole situation to her. "Can you put me up for a day or two? Otherwise, I'll be out in the street!"
Then you spend a night or two doing your gf, and the elevator repairman can get stuffed... :)

Man, I don't live in Compton. Nothing but SUV's out here. They'd go right over him. :(
Maybe I can take him to an ocean beach, tie him to a kite, and "accidentally" let the string slip out of my hand. He'll float effortlessly back across the pond to Yorkshire, where he and his satanic ilk were spawned, in a black lightless mine shaft. (insert devious laughter here). :) It could work.......

I'm tempted to paint a white stripe around his nose, and one around his a** and punt his rotten hide over the back fence.

My current dogs fill both roles, but after Ozzie passes, I want an Akita.
