Which stadium do you guys feel is the best in baseball to see a game at (with price of tickets not taken into consideration)?

I'm personally gonna vouch for Citi Field here. Beautiful brand new stadium, great food, every seat is a good seat (with the few obstructions that were around earlier in the year fixed recently). The Jackie Robinson Rotunda is amazing, the concourses are spacious. All-around great place to see a game.

Even though I've never been there, PNC Park seems like a great park. Only one obstruction though. There's always these posers who think they can play baseball and get on the field.

Also new Busch Stadium is great too. Obviously, Safeco is up there.

No, a poll with 30 choices will have such spread out results that it would be pointless, just vouch for whichever stadium you feel is the best.

I really liked seeing Petco.

but i haven't been to all 30.

Fenway gets special love, i also really like Washington's new ball park.

PNC Park is very nice, and it also has a nice view of the Pittsburgh skyline and the 3 bridges.

I went there last year. They have incredibly lame fans though. We were sitting next to a few teenage Pirates fans, and they kept ripping on the Mets (this was when the Pirates were in last and the Mets were in first).

Boy am I absolutely shocked MetsGuy chose Citi Field.

I'm going with Camden Yards. Beautiful ballpark. CBP is great, but I've been there hundreds of times so the luster wears off.

In order if liking them
Shea (by far probably)
Bluefish Stadium
Fenway (too crampted and obstructid views)
Olympic stadium (what a dump! Vents were crazy loud)
Old Yankee Stadium worst stadium I ever went to *

*Before you say its because I hate the Yanks her me out.
1.) Its the only stadium that EVERY TIME I GO which has been at least 8 times... mor than 1 person pours a beer on someone else in eithier my section or the ones near me. I have even tried sitting in the non alcoholic sections and no luck. Now the beer in the non alcoholic section is annoying but it happens at ever stadium... it just seams like the Yanks don't care.
2.) Its not booing, and general ribbing that happens there... It's insulting and threatoning that happens and I saw once 2 guys throwing stuff then blamed it on a guy there ni a Braves jersy! I mean come on WTF! I certainly dont expect to be treated like royalty... we are there to try and beat your team but come on tone it down. It is/was less "angry" at Shea even when they were battaling in 2000 for the playoffs and every game counted for both teams.
3.) As much as everyone said shea smelled like urine... it was Yankee Stadium that smelled.

Coors Field. Wrigley Field gets an honorable mention just because of the history, the Bleacher Bums, etc. I've yet to see Fenway, but that would probably be on the list for the same reason once I do. But after seeing the Rockies in the World Series with the best view, that's perfection.

Sometimes though they have no business ripping on the other team, like when the other team is in first and they are in last.

I think it's more fun outside of the Metrodome, before and after the game, than it is inside the Metrodome.

metsguy234

My friend went to the Metrodome and said he hated it. He sat in the upper deck, got a nosebleed, but generally didn't like indoor baseball.

I've only been to three parks -

Fenway - being surrounded by Sox fans, hearing Sweet Caroline, and being a part of a game there is just a phenominal feeling. I've had good seats every time and been so happy. But as a park, outside of fandom and history, it's just good.
Tropicana Field - having a dome that is AC'd is remarkably nice. Some nice additions, decent food choices, but overall just OK.
Marlins Stadium/Dolphin Stadium. Okay - this is ridiculous as a baseball fan. Have the bleachers are rolled up and the whole experience is just crappy. BUT - when you get a booth? Oh my GOD! Totally different experience. The booths on their admin level are fantastic...AC'd, like 5 TVs, radio or live broadcast, cumfy seats, food...oh my god.

I'd really like to go to PNC, personally. Or Petco. But I'll prolly head to Atlanta or Baltimore first.

Yeah, indoor baseball isn't much fun, aside from the fact that the Metrodome is climate-controlled, which can be nice if it's 95 and humid outside.

My father thinks the team is stupid to have an open air stadium when it's going to be bitter cold and snow sometimes in April and that they moved into the Metrodome to avoid that, but I think a delay or two per year will be made up for by those gorgeous skyline views from the seats during the summertime.

The scoreboard is over the concourse in LF so it doesn't matter. And I haven't seen anything about the overhang blocking the view but it doesn't look like the CF one goes back very far

Like a coach would say, "good eye Massaroli, good eye!" Except, they'd call you "Macaroni" instead.

You should try out for the team that rockiesfan4ever didn't make. They could probably use your patience at the plate.

AT&T Park in San Francisco has a nice view

I have never been to another park other than the stick, so I won't say ATT is the best. I will say that having sat in just about the same spot that pic was taken from, on the 3rd base line 3 rows up between bullpen mound and plate, on the first base side bottom level under the overhang, left field corner, and the bleachers, I don't think there is a bad seat in the house. Next time I go, I will probably buy seats in the upper deck with that view, at least for a day game. Really good seats, especially for $18.

Its really a great park, the cove is awesome, the food is good. Prices aren't outathisworld expensive the way some places are /caugh bostonnewyork.

Great place to watch a ball game.

I talk to a lot of out of towners at the Rockies games and they say Coors is one of their favorite stadiums. Cubs fans, Rays fans, Red Sox fans, Mets fans, they all love Coors.

It's easily top 5 in the MLB I think.

If you sit Rockpile you can see Downtown Denver. It's the greatest view I've ever seen.

And if you sit down the first base line you can see the Rocky Mountains.

The views aren't blocked. The right field bleachers block I-25...oh how horrible. Rockpile doesn't block much unless you sit first level.

Think about this. Hot summer day in Queens, upper 90s. Before the game, you get beer poured on you. Sure you won't be wet that long, but its the smell that will get to you.
